There is more that links Wales and Iran than you dare to imagine. Both countries have incredible stories to tell and are rich in history and culture. But what more can be done in order to bring these nations closer together? In partnership with Wales Week Iran, part of the Wales Week Worldwide programme, The British Institute of Persian Studies is pleased to present this webinar, which explores the unique connections between the two nations and an open opportunity for people to talk about their experiences and works which links Wales and Iran that they want to bring to life.

 

About the speaker:

John Price is a PR and communications professional, representing organisations and individuals in health, housing, environment, politics and non-for-profits. In 2020, inspired by his Iranian mother and Welsh father, he launched ‘Cymranian’, a platform that brings Welsh and Iranian cultures and people together. In 2022, Cymranian expanded with Wales Week Iran, part of the Wales Week Worldwide initiative, that promotes Wales to the world. In October 2021, he moved back to his hometown of Cardiff, after living in and around London for more than eight years.
